Today we send a big warm welcome to our members, supporters and sponsors, in particular our game day sponsors, Coastal Engineering and Belting, Brian Targett Electrical and Incitec Pivot. We seriously can’t thank these guys enough for there generous, kind support each year and today. Thank you.

We would also obviously like to warmly welcome our opponents today, the Devonport Football Club, as this is the last roster game for the season and what will unfortunately be our seniors and under 18’s last game for the year as they will sadly miss the finals series. Our reserves will more than likely be playing off in an elimination final next Sunday.

The last time we met the Magpies a few weeks ago it was an absolute ripper of a game with our blokes showing so many positive signs and just missing out on the win by two points, we certainly had our opportunities on the day but couldn’t the job done, so after a moral boosting win last week against the swans the boys will be confident that they can bring there best today to hopefully get the win to finish the year off on a high!

Our senior women’s team unfortunately couldn’t get the job done in last weekends Grand Final but our club is so, so proud of what they were able to achieve in their last month of football. Congratulations Lila, Chris, Terry and the entire team! Bigger things next year for sure!

The Penguin Football Club is deeply saddened by the peaceful passing of Club Legend and Life Member Ted Howe. The Club is immensely proud and thankful of not only the service Ted gave to our great club, but the community and indeed the country. Our thoughts are with the Howe family at this time.

Unfortunately the club ball that was scheduled for tonight has been canceled due to unfortunate circumstances but please stick around after the game for a few cold ones along with a meal as we will have $10 feeds available. This will be a great opportunity for our sponsors, members and supporters to have a chat with the players and get excited about what 2020 may bring for the club as we have numerous committing for next season and beyond as per our ‘Sunday signings’ on Facebook.

Keep your eye on social media as we will also announce a date for our best and fairest count in the very near future.
