Our Tasmanian team have fallen agonisingly close to securing the 2018 All Nations trophy at the AFL Diversity

Champs, going down to Victoria in a one-point thriller this morning.

Tasmania held the lead for much of the match before two goals in a minute gave Victoria the lead in the dying stages of the contest.

A mark and 50-metre penalty saw Tasmania kick a goal after the siren to secure the win, before being called back to take the kick again, with the second shot falling short. Congratulations to our Tasmanian team, including our very own Matthew ‘Sweet’ Carrolan, on a fantastic campaign, you have all done yourselves and Tasmania proud!

Congratulations also to AFL Victoria on the win, and to everyone involved in the organisation of such a fantastic tournament.

A further congratulations goes to our Under 16 co-captain Bailey Carter on being awarded Tasmania’s MVP for the All Nations series this week.
Well done Bailey!
