The Penguin Football Club Congratulates Tayla Marshall as she runs out for her 100th Senior game of football. Tayla becomes the third female in the state to do so, the second in the NWFL. A wonderful achievement and we wish ‘Boots’ all the best as she prepares for her teams match against the Devonport Football Club.
Last weekend saw the Penguin Football Club for the first time in history win all 8 out 8 games, something we can all be proud of.
The Under 18’s game last week saw a 100 point turn around from the previous game against Latrobe and the boys will be looking to bring that confidence forward again this weekend.
Nathan Russell’s Reserves face off against some quality opposition in a top of the table clash. Some familiar and very experienced faces will be welcomed back into the Two Blues guernsey in Brock Dicker and Chris McDonald.
The Senior game is also a top of the ladder game with the winner potentially claiming top spot. A few changes to the side this week with Co-Captain Jack Templeton sidelined for a few weeks with an ankle injury with Dusty O’Neil and Jackson Beattie also out being unavailable. Coming into the team will be Sam Mitchell, Jonty Lanham and Geordie Dowling.
