It is with heavy hearts we let you all know our much loved Life Member and ‘Chip Queen’ Pam passed away peacefully last week after a battle with Cancer.
Pam was a long time volunteer of the club, (over 20 years) cleaner, cooked Thursday night meals and canteen worker.
She won numerous club awards such as The Ern Lette Award for Best Clubperson, The Audrey and Lyle Willcox Award for most dedicated worker along with many more and in 2021 awarded Life Membership.
You would generally see Pam in the canteen most Fridays prior to a home game preparing food for a busy Saturday at the Footy, then back on a Sunday morning cleaning the kitchen, bar and clubrooms.
Our players wore black armbands last weekend at Smithton to pay tribute to Pam.
Our deepest condolences to Abbey,Paul,Tegan and Nathan.
A celebration of life will be held for Pam this coming Monday, July 25 at The Penguin Football Club from 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Council in Pam’s name.
Rest In Peace beautiful lady we will miss you dearly.
